GPD’s Executive Director Lea Kaspar selected to join ECFR Council

GPD’s executive director, Lea Kaspar, has accepted an invitation to join the Council of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) for a two-year renewable term.

The Council is a strategic community composed of over 260 European politicians, business leaders, civil society representatives, and thinkers. Find out more about the Council here.

Commenting on her selection, Lea said:

“The ECFR is a recognised thought leader in the European foreign policy space, and I’m both delighted and grateful for the opportunity to serve on its Council.

“I’m interested in the ways the emerging digital environment is disrupting and challenging the conventions of foreign policy, and look forward to bringing my perspective and experience to bear on the urgent questions around national sovereignty, identity and power that the ECFR is currently tackling.”
