Kathryn Doyle

Kathryn is the Programme Lead for Global Partners Digital’s (GPD) Online Content team. She oversees the running of programmes, the monitoring of global laws and policies related to disinformation, hate speech and terrorist content, and the  progress towards achieving the Online Content team’s strategy, ensuring it is aligned with the larger organisational strategy.  The focus of her work is managing GPD’s project to promote business and human rights in the tech sector, working with digital rights organisations in Africa, Asia and South America.

Prior to joining GPD, Kathryn worked as Regional Programme & Advocacy Officer for Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Brussels. There she secured funding, coordinated common projects and conducted research for programmes to protect human rights and promote the social inclusion of refugees and migrants across a network of 20 European countries. Previously, she worked for Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath) a Boston-based organisation working to disrupt poverty through an innovative theory of change. For two years, she worked as a high school teacher in Chuuk, Micronesia.

Kathryn holds a BA in English Literature and Theology from Loyola University Maryland and a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College with a concentration in migration issues, organisational management, policy change and social innovation.
