Calling all cyber policy experts – fill out our survey

Earlier this year we launched our Cyber Capacity Building programme, along with an Advisory Board tasked with helping to guide the development of its training curriculum. The training element of the programme aims to increase civil society’s understanding of – and ability to effectively engage with –  cyber policy issues.

To make the curriculum inclusive, balanced and reflective of the widest possible range of expertise, we’re now inviting experts from around the world to tell us what the most pressing cyber policy issues are in their region.

If you’re a cyber policy expert, tell us what the programme should be focusing on through our short online survey. Submissions from all over the world are welcome, but to ensure balance we particularly encourage contributions from experts based in Africa and Asia. The CCB Advisory Board have already submitted their responses.

The results of the survey will help shape the direction of the curriculum. Submissions close on Wednesday 23 March, after which we’ll publish a breakdown of the results on the GPD blog.

To draft the survey, we drew on the taxonomy of a previous curriculum on cybersecurity which was developed for civil society in preparation for the Global Conference on CyberSpace 2015 (read more here). We have used this framework as a starting point, but welcome your views on how to broaden the scope of the issues covered – let us know on the survey.
