Engage with the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms

The African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms was developed with the aim of bringing internet-related issues important to developing countries into the scope of civil and political rights.

Now, a new interactive platform – Engage.AfricanInternetRights.org – offers new ways to engage with the Declaration. Human rights defenders, journalists, policymakers – and anyone else interested in internet rights in Africa – can use the platform to find out more about the Declaration, as well as sharing research, resources, case studies and multimedia content.

Explore the tool here. And join the conversation on #AfricanInternetRights.

The African Declaration interactive platform is part of APC’s project Building feminist cross-movement collaboration and action on internet and human rights in Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean. GPD supports the Declaration as part of its collaborative work with civil society groups on the continent to promote human rights respecting internet policy. For more information on the project, visit the African Internet Rights website.
