GPD announces changes to its leadership structure

Global Partners Digital (GPD) today announces changes to its leadership structure.

Charles Bradley, co-Executive Director of GPD since 2016, will depart the organisation on 11 June 2021 to focus on a range of other pursuits and passions.

Executive Director Lea Kaspar will continue to lead GPD, with operational duties being taken on by the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), Rebecca Zausmer.

Rebecca is joining GPD as a widely respected expert in strategy and operations. She has more than a decade of experience leading change in third sector organisations, most recently as Director of Knowledge and Operations for WAN IFRA Women in News. Rebecca is returning to GPD in this new role after seven years, having played a critical role in GPD’s set-up and early success.

Commenting on the changes to GPD’s leadership structure, Executive Director Lea Kaspar said:

“Charles’ tenure at GPD has steered us through a period of transformative growth and expansion. As we move into a new decade, I’m excited by the opportunity to build on this shared legacy—with the support of our brilliant new COO, Rebecca Zausmer, and our peerless GPD team, who inspire me every day.”

Outgoing Executive Director Charles Bradley said:

“I can’t put into words how much I have enjoyed working with such an inspiring organisation and contributing to its growth and achievements over the past seven years. I’m confident that, under Lea’s leadership—and with a fantastic team behind her—GPD will further extend its role as a leading organisation in the digital policy and human rights space, and scale even greater heights.”
