New case studies to support inclusive cyber norm development
GPD today publishes a suite of case studies—available in both English and Spanish—to complement its Inclusive Cyber Norms Toolkit, a pathbreaking resource which aims to support and empower policymakers and other stakeholders to ensure a fully inclusive approach to the development and implementation of cyber norms.
The three case studies—from Derechos Digitales (Chile), R3D (Mexico) and Fundación Karisma (Colombia)—describe the experiences of civil society organisations advocating around cybersecurity and human rights, exploring a range of considerations and challenges to make vivid the key lessons and principles set out by the Toolkit. Each case study concludes with a set of specific recommendations for both governments and civil society.
