Donja is currently involved in a global project aimed at growing and strengthening the global South civil society influence on internet policies at the national, regional and global level through research, outreach, training and advocacy. She is the day-to-day liaison for partners in six countries and oversees project management and finance on a number of programs. She also provides research and editorial support on various publications related to human rights on the internet, and the strengthening of local civil society voices in the internet governance debate.
Donja completed a MSc in Democracy and Comparative Politics at the University College London and holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Bonn. Her studies focused on comparative Government analysis and the domestic power balance of governmental bodies. Before joining GP Digital, she worked as an intern in the German Federal Agency for Civic Education and the UNESCO International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training. She is fluent in English and German and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
