Klara Marland

Klara coordinates and delivers programs and activities that advance the Freedom Online Coalition’s mission to promote human rights and digital freedom worldwide.

Before joining GPD, she worked at the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), where she focused on cyber capacity building, international cooperation, and coordination of the Women in International Security and Cyberspace (WiC) Fellowship, a multilateral initiative supporting women’s effective participation in United Nations cyber negotiations.

Klara holds an MA in International Relations from Leiden University and a BA in English and American Studies from Charles University in Prague
