GPD Programme Lead selected to join GFCE Advisory Board

GPD Programme Lead Daniela Schnidrig has been selected to join the Advisory Board of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE).

The GFCE is a global platform for countries, international organisations and private companies to exchange best practices and expertise on cyber capacity building. Its Advisory Board, which includes actors from civil society, academia and technical communities, is tasked, among other things, with providing advice on the overall strategic direction of the GFCE to its members.

Responding to the selection, Daniela said “Capacity building is key to realising the full potential of cyberspace. I am delighted to join the GFCE AB and look forward to learning from and contributing to the GFCE’s outstanding work in promoting cyber capacity for all by enabling international multistakeholder cooperation.”

Daniela’s appointment will complement GPD’s efforts to support the work of the GFCE. GPD has engaged with the GFCE since its inception, with Executive Director Lea Kaspar being the co-Chair during the first mandate of the AB, and GPD recently became partner of the GFCE.
